Sunrays and Saturdays

I was tagged by Brymac to write 20 random facts about myself. Then I'm supposed to tag the same number of people as the number of minutes it took me to write the facts. Okay then ;)

1. I was named after a song. Although, when my mother’s mad at me, she calls me Mikaela.
2. I only eat twice a day, breakfast and dinner or lunch and dinner. Sometimes I skip both breakfast and lunch and just eat dinner.
3. I’ve lived in Laguna for 20 years (yes, ever since I was born, haha) yet I don’t eat buko, buko pie, buko pandan, buko salad, and macaroons. I don’t drink buko juice either. However, I do eat ginataan and I do drink lambanog ;)
4. Before I went to college, the only vegetable I ate was pechay.
5. I like my coffee black, with just a little bit of brown sugar. I like my beer cold, but without the ice.
6. I had my first beer when I was 17. It was a Red Horse. The most number of beers I had in one drinking session is 18. They were all San Mig Lights. I doubt if I can ever drink that much again.
7. The longest I’ve gone without sleeping is four days (3 nights). The longest I’ve gone without eating is three days.
8. I’m a certified open water SCUBA diver, but I don’t know how to swim.
9. I took piano lessons for 2 years and Tae Kwon Do lessons for 3 months.
10. The first thing I do when I wake up is sneeze, continuously, for around 7-10 times :))
11. I had a pet fish named Fish, who is now buried somewhere in the Kamia garden. I’ve never had any other pets. I don’t like pets. I don’t like kids either :P
12. I watched all of Sharon Cuneta’s movies when I was a kid. I needed no prodding to recite her most famous lines (You’re nothing but a second rate, trying hard, copycat!). I must have been so cute because up to now, the PAL VP sometimes still calls me Sharon.
13. I don’t like joining games and entering contests because I am a sore loser. I cry whenever I lose :P
14. I worked in a nuclear research facility for 2 months and in a planetarium for a month.
15. I don’t have a sense of direction (literally and figuratively, haha). Up to now, I still get lost inside UP.
16. The very first book I read was Pilar Caterpillar. It was a counting book. I was 3 and surprised everybody by reading the book out loud. Except I wasn’t really reading. I loved the book so much, I had it memorized. Haha.
17. I've read the entire Nancy Drew series. Though I don't remember any of the books now, I remember I used to cheat and peek at the end to see if she'd be able to solve the mystery. I think at the back of my mind, I was always hoping she wouldn't :P
    
18. I’m the only person I know who actually gets paper cuts.
19. Like Marc, I identify vegetables by their Latin names before I eat them. Been doing that since Bio 11.
20. Oh, and I have a penchant for guys who speak Latin ;P
